12th House
Directed by Ilona Laboy

12th House follows a woman through a surreal psychological landscape where reality becomes increasingly elusive and identity begins to dissolve. Through dreamlike imagery and poetic inner monologue, the film explores grief, self-destruction, and rebirth—a descent into the subconscious and the fractured selves we confront in the process of transformation.

離家出走 (FUGUE)
Directed by Xin Yuan Sheng

When objects lose utility, memories begin to wander.

The modern metropolis is a metabolism of rapid obsolescence. FUGUE documents the raw, unscripted residue shed across Taipei’s alleyways. By detaching sound from image, the film records forgotten objects not as urban waste, but as silent witnesses to time, decay, and displaced memory.

Disappearance of Time
Directed by Andrea Hackl

THE DISAPPEARANCE OF TIME is a testament to the cyclical dance of life – of disappearance and becoming. Death giving way to birth, life and death intertwined.

The film speaks of the quiet resilience of the earth and our role as stewards of her future; the threads of her history woven into our very being and our story profoundly connected with her. Each grain of dust, each drop of water, telling a story of loss and rebirth, echoing the human experience.

Landscapes that once seemed eternal, fading, disappearing, with ever increasing speed, due to climate change and human impact. Glaciers melting. Their presence witness to an ancient time’s passage

THE DISAPPEARANCE OF TIME is an invitation to embrace our place within the timeless dance of life, echoing the truth that in every ending lies the promise of a new beginning.

Ultimately, it is a meditation on hope and that which survives beyond what we call death.

Be Careful With Hope
Directed by Edie Steiner

BE CAREFUL WITH HOPE is a poetry film based on Carol Barbour’s poem “Be Careful with Hope”, from her collection, “Infrangible”. The poem in the film is voiced by the author, who was inspired by Emily Dickinson’s poem “‘Hope’ is the Thing with Feathers.” A micro drama where the camera follows a woman moving through an urban nature site, she seems to be mourning a loss and is seeking to find hope again. Settling on a bench with a wide view of the surrounding landscape, she opens a book that reveals magical lights emanating from the text and into the landscape, suggesting new possible worlds for the reader.

Artemis Jampanoï
Directed by Ornella Pacchioni

Two women. Mylène in Paris, Artemis in Athens. They eat as they tell us their stories. Carried by this borderless conversation, archive images appear. Evoking their exile, their return, never feeling home, but hoping, always.

Artemis Jampanoï was made with the simplest production, rooting in the daily to thread links infinitely.

It asks : is it more important to be looking at women or to look at what they see ?
